DETAILS NGC5850 is a finely structured barred spiral galaxy in the Virgo cluster while the arrowed galaxies are much further away. One of them, SDSS J150658.12+013400.0 is classed as a quasar some 3.4 billion light years distant. Supernova SN 1987B was discovered here. The arrowed stars are high proper motion stars and the arrow shows direction.
