DETAILS A well mapped area here. NGC3307 and NGC3316 are barred spirals . NGC3308 is a spiral with a weak bar. NGC3309 and NGC3311 are elliptical and NGC3312 is a spiral galaxy with LINER activity. NGC3314a and b constitute NGC3314. NGC3314a is an edge-on weakly barred spiral while NGC3314b is almost a face on spiral. This area is full of galaxies some elliptical, some spiral. Supernova SN 2010jq was discovered near 2MASX J10363499-2728442.
