DETAILS | Trio of interacting galaxies, NGC6770 appears to be a barred spiral and both this and NGC6769 have developed star forming regions as a result of the interaction. NGC6769 contained supernovae SN 2006ox and SN 1997de. IC4842 is classed as an elliptical galaxy and NGC6771 is and edge-on barred spiral. |
